We continually talk about our journey, and for the people who have been involved in Judgement, it has been quite a long one. There were many milestones along the way, and it is a journey that has had varying peaks and troughs. The euphoria and raw energy we had when we first started to write the game, the dark days when the early play testing went poorly, the moment we realised we had a decent game on our hands, through to the build up towards launching our Kickstarter. And that was just the start!
The massive relief, and pride, you feel when the Kickstarter successfully funds is difficult to describe. You are ecstatic, but then you have this minor panic, gnawing at your sub-conscious, that you actually have to deliver it! As many of you know, we are in the process of delivering our Kickstarter. Setting a 6 month target to ship was always going to be hectic, and we have not had a break that entire time. However getting the game out there, well that is what it is all about, we just can't wait to get started.
Which brings us to this weekend, and the official launch of Judgement at MOAB, in Sydney, Australia. It is our first official tournament, which is a nice little milestone in itself, and it is also the first time our entire range will be available for retail purchase post Kickstarter. From the start we have billed MOAB as a celebration as much as anything else, and we are definitely in that frame of mind as we prepare things for the weekend.
Gavin (Slardy), Jeff (Tirrith) and myself (Guns), will be there across Saturday and Sunday, running tournaments, doing demos and (hopefully) selling some products to help grow the player base of the game. So if you are attending MOAB, then be sure to drop in and say hello. If you are new to Judgement, we will have all the studio minis there for you to check out, and we are more than happy to run you through a demo. If you a backer, then hopefully you are playing in one of our events! Either way we just want to meet as many gamers as we can and share our passion for this wonderful game we have created! :)
We are all very much looking forward to the weekend, and hope to see you there.
